This cheese is Appellation of Origin “Queso Manchego”, from La Mancha, Spain. This is a pressed cheese made with sheep milk of the Manchego breed, aged for 3 months.

This Semi-Soft Goat Cheese Bathed in Red Wine Tasty cheese is perfect for anyone who loves goat's milk cheese. During its maturation the cheese is washed with local red wines to give it its distinctive winey taste and aroma, and beautiful edible burgundy rind. This is where its nickname "Drunken Goat" came from.

Cheese: To ensure freshness, refrigerate cheese and wrap it in wax paper or cheese paper. Both cheese are best enjoyed at a temperature slightly below room temperature, around 18-20°C (64-68°F). This range allows the cheeses' flavors and aromas to fully develop without becoming overly soft. If the cheese is stored in the refrigerator, take it out about 30-45 minutes before serving to let it warm up gradually. Clean the rind and cut the cheese into wedge shapes with 3-5mm thick slices lengthwise.The edge bark can be left to give a visual clue of the cheese being served but not edible.
