Delicious Handmade Vegan Black Truffle and Olive Oil Crackers
These natural, artisan crackers are vegan, extra thin, and crispy, made without additives, colorings, or palm oil. They are also non-GMO. Infused with the exquisite aroma and intense flavor of black truffle (Tuber Melanosporum Vitt), these crackers offer a unique taste experience. The black truffle is harvested in Sarrión, Teruel, home to the largest oak plantation in the world.
The crackers also feature Tuber Aestivum, or Summer Truffle, which grows from early summer to autumn. Known for its angular wrinkles and dark brown tone, the Summer Truffle has a distinctive, intense perfume and flavor.
The flour used is milled by hand, as stone-ground flours are more nutritious and aromatic than those processed with industrial steel rollers. The dough is allowed to rest for 12 hours and cooked slowly to preserve nutrients, resulting in an extra fine, crunchy yet consistent cracker.
