Also known as Drunken Goat, Murcia al Vino is the famous wine washed goat's milk cheese from Spain. Tasty semi-hard cheese is perfect for anyone who loves goat's milk cheese.
During its maturation the cheese is washed with local Jumilla and Yecla red wines to give it its distinctive winey taste and aroma, and beautiful edible burgundy rind. This is where its nickname "Drunken Goat" came from.
There are hints of almonds and fermented fruit in flavor and nice creaminess to its semi-firm texture. Milder that some goat's milk cheeses.
Perfect pairing with fruity red white and rose wines.
